Raw Vegan Chocolate Tart

Makes 1 tart

TART
½ cup dates
1 avocado
¼ cup desiccated coconut
1½ tablespoons coconut oil
2 tablespoons maple syrup
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
½ cup cacao powder
¼ cup water

TOPPING
desiccated coconut

INSTRUCTIONS:

Start by soaking the dates in water for at least 30 minutes. Once dates have softened, drain and chop. This process helps the blending.
In a food processor or high-speed blender, blend dates with the rest of the ingredients until smooth. Put into a 5½ inch (13½ centimeter) cake tin and let it set in the freezer for about 1 hour.

TOPPING
Decorate tart with desiccated coconut. Keep refrigerated.
